I have a number of emails that I would like to archive from my mailboxes. I don't want to print them as pdfs and I don't want to put them in the archive mailbox which gets deleted. Any place else where I off load these emails?

Sure. I basically let it run automatically to "archive" my Apple Mail app's mailboxes. It will do so periodically.
In addition, I use both Time Machine & Carbon Copy Cloner to make backups of my Mac from which I can always restore my messages should that be necessary.
MailSteward also allows me to make copies of my mail archives which I can store on other devices. Any of these copies can be accessed.
Finally, I can use MailSteward to recover any single message, multiple messages, etc. Again, should I have a need to.
I do not work for MailSteward, but have been using their app for a number of years now with no regrets. They also provide a trial version so you can check it out yourself before buying.

FWIW, I use MailSteward for this exact purpose ... archiving my mail messages.

You can make any folder you like and set it as the Archive folder. Nothing is actually "archived," though.
And, your Archive mailbox should not get deleted. If you are using Gmail, Archive is actually the All Mail label in Gmail.
Who is your email provider? What email program do you use? Why do you think that an archive mailbox would be deleted? How do you want to be able to access these emails in the future? Do you want to be able to put them back in your regular mailbox?
This looks interesting. Can you tell me more details on how you use it?
Best suggestion to archive mails somewhere other than the Archive Folder in Mails App.
