Watch started pinging in middle of the night

I was sleeping and randomly in the middle of the night my watch, which was charging, started pinging by itself through Findmyiphone. After being woken up from the noise, I finally realized where the noise was coming from and got out of bed and just as I was about to grab my watch the pinging stopped. I didn’t touch it , and no one in my house did either! I’m kinda creeped out!!! Is someone watching me??

No, the chances of someone watching you are slim. It could simply be a software bug. Try and see if the issue reproduces itself, and if that is the case please force restart your Apple Watch

Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown until the screen turns black and the Apple logo reappears, then release both buttons. Your watch might take a few moments to restart. Never do this when updating watchOS
