Logic Pro X 11.0 won't open on my 2023 Macbook Pro with Sonoma 14.5

I just updated my Logic Pro X to 11.0 and it won't even open on my Macbook running Sonoma 14.5. It was also crashing and doing a lot of weird stuff before the update like resizing audio files incorrectly. Apple has gone from an A+ company to a C the last couple years for me. Too many tech troubles.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.5

Select the Logic App in the Finder while not running, press CMD+I (Information) and uncheck "Open Using Rosetta".

If you still encounter issues, then retrieve an older Logic version from a backup, rename it and put it in your Application folder. You can have several Logic versions in your application folder as long as they have different names. The most recent one should not be renamed.

BTW, I haven't had any problems so far with Logic 11 and Sonoma 14.5.

This can happen

• when working with Logic directly in the cloud, no matter if saving or opening,

• when using hard drives with other formats than APFS (recommended) or MacOS Extended (old mac format)

• when not having enough free space on a hard drive. You should more than 10% free space on every hard drive you are using.
