Seriously miffed. 4 month old machine. Paid a motza for this, my most expensive machine in over 20+ years as an Apple user… 128 GB ram 4 TB.
Never had a major issue previously so pretty disappointed.
Apple sent me a box and I returned the machine by post today.
It has no signs of life at all. No power indication… nothing. Can anybody offer a guess as to the likely outcome and time frame?

my guess is 14 days portal-to-portal,
your Mac returned to you fully working with no further issues,
with a fresh install of the latest MacOS installed and NONE of your added Apps or files, which would need to be restored from your backups.
¿What is the date of your most recent backup, and by what method?
