Unified/Shared Apple Photos folder from two iPhone devices

Is there a way to setup a shared folder in my Apple Photos account so that photos taken from both my iPhone 14 and from my wife's iPhone 13 Pro sync to a single shared folder in my Apple Photo account? The desired result is to have images from both iPhone devices residing in a single shared folder inside my Apple Photos account where all photos from both devices are in a single location.

Not exactly as you describe, for a number of reasons.

For one thing, there is no longer any automatic one-way sync from phones to libraries, so if you connected two phones to the same libraries then the photos from one phone would also be synced back to the other phone.

For another thing, the only way to connect both phones to the same library would be to run both phones on the same Apple ID, which rarely works out well in the long run.

Using literal Shared Albums would get around the second point, but there is no automatic sync into Shared Albums at all, and the photos moved into Shared Albums lose both resolution and metadata.

Consider whether a Shared Library might help. Photos there keep all their resolution and metadata, and sync there can be automated, but it is two-way. Each phone would wind up with all of the photos in the Shared Library.
