Potential water damage on my iPhone SE
My device when I woke up said there was water detected and that it couldn’t charge. I can’t remember if I clicked emergency override or dismiss as I did just get up. But, I did manage to let it dry for nearly 4 hours (also bought a new charger) and I went to a phone repair shop. The person said from what he sees it’s not got any water damage ( he didn’t look inside in my phone FYI).
I then charged it for like 30 minutes. After that I opened the SIM card to check the LSI and I all I could see was a grey line, I couldn’t see any red.
Prior context:
I hadn’t dropped it in water at all the day before but couple of days ago I did leave it in the bathroom while I was in the shower. I also did wipe my phone with baby wipes (I know you’re not meant buy I didn’t realise at the time). This all happened a couple of days ago before I got this notification.
I also was in heavy rain a for a few minutes yesterday.
So, is my phone probably fine? The only other thing is that when I called my dad, every now and then I sounded muffled.
