So I’ve followed the instructions for creating an .m4r file for my new ringtone.
when I drag the file to the iTunes, device, tones folder, it says ‘copy to’ but it doesn’t actually happen.
I’ve also tried copy and paste with no success. Please help

What version of iTunes are you running? I believe that step belongs to the instructions for iTunes 12.6.5 or older. We now are iTunes 12.13.2.3 and you should probably use the steps under the heading: Add ringtone to device, iTunes 12.7 or later.

Thanks for this. Followed your steps, however’Move the file into the Automatically Add to iTunes folder inside your media folder’ refuses to complete this step.
