Unable to text to Android phones
My iPhone 12 mini recently updated to 17.5.1 and now I cannot text to Android phones (including group chats with iPhones and Androids).
I noticed that I have a Primary and Personal number set up but they go to the same phone number. They both list “AT&T 58.0” as the Carrier, but the Primary number says “Not Available” next to “Network” whereas the Personal number says “AT&T” next to network.
Texting to Androids defaults to Primary even when I try to change it to Personal.
I have tried a forced restart (several times) and most of the other tips from this article (but not the network settings reset):
Has anyone else experienced this problem and successfully fixed it? If so, what did you do?
