Massive increase in data usage.

I am mainly in my house using Wi-Fi and I am doing the same things that I have done for 10 years or more. I added 100G with google and 200 G with Apple. I have been a Verizon customer for years and a few years they looked at my usage history and said I mainly used under a gig a month and went over slightly a couple of times. So what’s up with all this sudden data usage?

Avoiding Cellular Data being Eaten Up:

See what apps are being used for Cellular. If something is enabled (i.e. Files), then that would means it can use data without your discretion.

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Cellular
  3. View: what is enabled.
