2024 Macbook Pro 15 in M3, out of the box doesn't turn on

My partner purchased the laptop from Amazon, brand new as sold by the Seller: Amazon.


Just received, it did not turn on, I followed the trouble shooting here.


Used the brick battery source provided with the machine, and the tiny circle light is not on once plugged in to the outlet and plugged into the machine.


That it can't start out of the box is a problem I don't think is fixable. I have Apple Care, but I'm not getting good vibes from this machine. It functions like someone bricked the machine, completely dead.

Return this. Seems you have been scammed, though a full-assumption , on my part. Returns and Refunds - Amazon Customer Service.

Apple's basic return policy is 14-days from the date of purchase ... if you buy it directly from Apple. However, since Amazon is an Authorized Apple Reseller, I suggest that you contact Amazon on getting this Mac returned and getting a full refund.


Your partner can then decide if you want to get another one ... and I would suggest that you get it directly from Apple.
