My problem with latest ios update is that the app store/account page no longer shows the apps available to be updated. I had quite a few and now I can’t remember them all. I did update a couple that I did remember by searching in the app store and then each separately. When I called apple they said this was as expected in the new release, but that sounds crazy to me. Anyone else seeing this issue?

The answer was posted and verified to work by several of us that had the same issue, try this: kexv said: I did my own research and found that turning off the app updates and turning it on at settings (search App Store in the search bar at settings), it suddenly came back.
Turning off and on the app updates in settings worked for me! Thank you!!
Took two restarts after 17.6 upgrade and multiple pull downs and holds to kick that processing circle to start and then finally retrieve my list of apps needing updates.
fyi I did it with apple support tech watching my shared screen.
Now it works. I think I had to turn off the app auto updates ins erring an and wait a few hours. Now I see apps that need updating in the App Store. Thanks!
Nvmd I tried this method where you sign out of the AppStore and reboot your device and it seemed to work for me.
Everything indicates this is a server side issue. So disabling and enabling auto updates will do nothing. It is a mere coincidence if updates show up again after doing this.
Updates vanished from my devices and reappeared shortly thereafter a couple of weeks ago only to disappear again today. Apple needs to acknowledge and address this bug. But so far they are ignoring us.
Thanks for all of the replies. So far the only thing that is working for me, is to go to App Store/Account/Apps every day. Find the ones that have Open option, click on the app. If it has the Update option there, then I will update it. Time consuming and definitely not something I want to deal with!
Call Apple tech support speak to a senior advisor and let them deal with it
Same thing here on 17.5.1 just started happening today at the time of writing. I contacted apple support who confirmed it’s a common issue to report as a bug. No idea when or even if they will fix it.
I updated to 17.5.1 in the past 36 hours, also experiencing the exact same issue with App Store Icon...it has completely vanished from my phone.
I checked, and APP STORE is no where to be found on phone after the 17.5.1 update, and I have take the following steps, which none resolved the issue:
I had this problem this morning and tried all the suggestions in the above replies, none of which worked, so I gave up.
However when I tried again two hours later, app updates reappeared.
I'm guessing this may be some sort of issue on the AppStore server side.
Had the same issue today June 13th. And after over an hour with 4 different senior advisors saying that apple discontinued the updates in the app settings I did as you suggested and lo and behold I got 30 updates !! Seems like they have no clue!!
Mines actually even weirder, the apps that do show up now for updates when I manually pull down in the App Store are now not in English anymore (my phone language) but in German (my region). This has only been the case since a couple of days.
And all my old updates are gone. So the whole list was cleared
Apple that is stupid.. guys in the new update, the app downloads/updates under “App Store” are turned off… we just have to turn them back on, sarcastically thanks.. 80+ updates now

Just happened to me this morning. Update list was clear. I tried manual refresh and toggle settings as suggested in previous posts but not work.
Just happened today. No suggestions previously given working yet but will try again in a few.... The more of us that post might possibly push this bug to a higher priority for fixing.
