Transferring to a New iPhone:

Two Methods - Quick Start or iCloud:

Use Quick Start:

The transfer may have stalled. So, is Quick Start what you used here? Either way, I recommend you restore your new iPhone to factory settings, and then perform this once more, using Quick StartUse Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Sync Through iCloud:

Sign in to the same iCud Account on both devices. Then enable items (i.e. Photos) in iCloud on both phone. All pertaining items will be accessible between the two devices. As an example, here is how to go about this for Contacts:

On Both iPhones...

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Your Name (Top Item)
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: Contacts
  5. Enable: iCloud Contacts

Storage Discrepancies when Transferring to a New iPhone:

A. View iPhone Storage:

Despite seeing only 53.1 GB having been transferred, what do you see when you view iPhone Storage on the older and new iPhone? Go to: Settings > General > iPhone Storage

B. System Files are Preinstalled:

If you have 200GB to transfer, but only 128GB in storage, then it’s obviously not going to all transfer. Note that you have system files previously installed with the device. So, that means that a few GBs less than 128GB will not be available.

C. Don’t Use Up All of your Storage:

If you have full storage, then that would lead to system errors, such as power offs dues to overheating.

D. Clear Space on the Original iPhone:

There may be lots that can be cleared such as caches. And maybe this is all caches that at not being transferred (“Other” AKA “System Data”). So, prior to the transfer… Clear Space Using my User Tips:
