Are trackers limited to Profiles in Safari

I ditched google products since I switched to Apple (iPhone / Macbook / AppleTV / HomePod etc). But the company I work uses Google Workspace... I don't even use Google as a search engine... My first idea was to download a separate browser to do work related stuff but then I didn't' like the idea, so I decided to use a separate Safari Profile for work related stuff...

My question is, are the trackers only limited in the seperate profile I made for work specifically just like cookies, extensions etc, or can those trackers also track my main safari profile?

If so, what are your suggestions to be able to use Google Workspace without being affected in my main accounts...?

The answer to your question is yes. Each Safari Profile will retain information strictly limited to that Profile. However, Safari already limits the ability to use tracking cookies and similar browsing data effectively, making that technique a poor choice for anything that seeks to build an online profile of you for whatever purposes they may want to do that.

There is absolutely no way anyone should ever use a personal Mac for employer-related purposes. The potential for abuse and the personal consequences that can result are too great. If you are required to use Google products for your employment then use a different Mac — one that you do not use personally. Or, buy a Chromebook, a Windows PC, or something equally disposable. You'd be wasting money on a Mac, a product for which Apple has devoted considerable effort to protect your privacy.

I suggest that you decide at the outset whose Mac it is: yours, or your employer's. If it is your Mac, then it not your employer's, and it's certainly not Google's. Using their products will effectively surrender your personal sovereignty over to them.
