Order stuck on processing
I’ve ordered an iPad last week online,and yesterday was the supposedly delivery date but it’s still stuck on processing is this normal?

Presumably you have ordered directly from Apple. The order status will only change from Processing to Preparing to Ship just before the device leaves Apple's regional distribution centre.
While Apple's shipping estimates are usually quite accurate, they are nonetheless estimated dates. Given the complexity of Apple's supply chain from point of manufacture to its regional distribution depots - not to mention delays that can occur at any point in the shipping process - it is perhaps inevitable that unexpected delays can occur.
If you are concerned, you will find an identified point of contact in your order confirmation email - and use this to contact Apple with any queries that you may have.

To reiterate, the viewable status will only change from Processing when your order is literally being prepared for dispatch to you from the regional distribution centre.
As such, if your order is not yet available to ship, the current status that you see is entirely normal and as expected.
Unless you wish to cancel your order prior to shipping, you just need to be patient...
For some of the just released models of the 2024 iPad's Pro M4 and Air M2, demand is outstripping available supply. Models with the optional nano-texture screen glass appear to be experiencing extended delays.
How many different ways can I give the same answer...
Apple will only update the order status when they have product that is ready to be shipped to you. If the order status hasn't changed from Processing - your order is not ready to ship to you.
Similarly, if Apple's estimated shipping date has not yet been updated - a revised estimate for shipping your order is not yet available.
Yea ig,I contacted customer care and they weren’t really helpful. The supposedly delivery date was yesterday and as of rn it still hasn’t been updated to any other dates
Is this why it’s stuck on processing? Its normal?
Yeaaa.but why isn’t the new delivery date updated yet? It still says June 4th… sorry if I’m asking so much questions I’m just confused
