So, I was able to resolve this issue and am provide this update thinking it may help someone experiencing problems with their Apple TV Ethernet connection. Here’s what I did:
- Removed the Ethernet cable from the Apple TV.
- Removed the static up address I had assigned the device on my network/router.
- Accessed settings/network on the device and “forgot” my network.
- Powered off the Aimesh node the device had been connected to, along with all other devices attached to that node.
- Powered off the network router and modem.
- After about one minute powered the modem and router back on.
- After the network was again active (about one minute) connected the Ethernet cable to the Apple TV and powered on the Aimesh node along with the connected device.
Problem solved. Hope this helps someone.
