My iphone 12 pro randomly shuts off

I’ve had my iphone for a while and recently it started randomly shutting off. I tried resetting the phone but it just shuts off before i can even click on the settings app.

Ex: The battery will say it’s at 80% then the screen goes black. When I turn it back on the battery is at 10% and then when I unlock my phone it’ll just shut back off. I didn’t drop the phone in water or anything like that either so I don’t know what the reason for this could be.
