MagSafe battery doesn't charge after firmware update

I tried to update the firmware of my MagSafe battery, so I plugged it into my iPad air 4 with a Type C- lighting cable(made by Apple), after about half an hour, I found it couldn't be charged and no signal lights at all, there will be an animation on my iPhone 13 pro when I tag it on, but no any power data and no charging.

Any idea?

I have charged it a few times already, I know the charger is working since it shows a green light when plugged into plus I use it with my other devices. When placed on my phone it recognizes it but the battery pack appeared empty. Also, I does appear to charge when I plug the charger into the battery pack and to the phone, so it seems like the battery is not holding the charge. Pretty lame for a $100 device.

The phone does not respond at all to the original MagSafe charger. I have tested the same MagSafe charger with other iPhones and it works without any problems. My iPhone 17 Pro was charging normally before the update. The problem occurred immediately after upgrading to iOS 26.3.

MagSafe Battery Pack doesn’t charge and won’t charge my phone Left my battery pack to charge and indicator light implies it’s charging. However, battery widget indicates battery pack is dead and does not charge my iPhone. My workaround used to be to plug the battery pack into a charger then put it on my phone to “wake it up” and it works. But now, battery pack does not hold a charge and also does not “wake up” or seem to charge my iPhone at all anymore. Will Apple fix this if I brought it in? Or will they just recommend to buy a new one? Anyone have a fix?
