What iPhone models will have Apple Intelligence?

I have an iPhone 14 (base model) and i’m able to run chat gpt 4o, even 4o1 (since i pay for it) and it’s faster than my computer (completely optimized), so i don’t understand how the cores are the issue

i agree, it’s ridiculous how we have phone 2 years old and we can’t get basic features, i get stuff like clean up takes a lot of processing so it’s fair, but is it hard to get a new ui?? or context clues 🙏 it’s really not difficult it’s just apple being greedy

An iPhone released in late 2022 would be a Phone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, or 14 Max. All of those iPhones can run iOS 18.

For that matter, Apple is making iOS 18 available for the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR – phones released in late 2018 that were running iOS 12 at that time.

You seem to be complaining because you're not in line to get some advanced features.

This is what makes Apple successful, with new features that make you want to buy new phones. If you do not like how Apple does things than you can move away from Apple, but you will miss out on a lot.

This app is currently only compatible with iPhone 15 and iPhone 16. However, it should work on iPads with an M-series chip or Apple Silicon a18 chip. My iPad supports it. If you see a rainbow outline at the edge of the screen, it means that intelligent models have been installed. To install them, just follow the on-screen instructions. Apple intelligence was used within the sentences.

The iPhone is Apple's flagship device. And yes, it manufacturers it as well as sells it. The iPhone is Apple's most important device.The one that produces the most revenue out of its entire portfolio. More important and with more sales than their iPads and Macs. As such it is their flagship device.

I 100% agree with this, I have a 14 Pro Max, there’s not that much of a difference from 14 to 15 so why should I pay more when I already have my phone? Why should I pay more for a couple features that could be added to my own phone? Please read this apple and actually consider

The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are the current flagship devices in the iPhone line, just as the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max were the flagship devices before the 16 series phones came out. MacBook Pros with M3 Max chips are the flagship devices in Apple's notebook line. iPad Pros with the M4 chip are the flagship devices in Apple's tablet line.

On my 14 Pro Max, the AI popped up to redo my sentence, I did not want to use it on that message but I just now wanted to see how it worked and it’s gone so I researched & found this.

Anybody else see it pop up on theirs?

Like, I understand apple intelligence can not be on any iPhone, but why can’t just the new Siri ui be on any? And if ChatGPT works on iPhone 11, and Siri ChatGPT integration doesn’t, then what did apple really do?

Read the thread. It's been answered. A link to ChatGBT is not the same as what Siri will be with the thinking directly on your phone. It's that simple.

Nope. Not even a close analogy. What you have is a link to ChatGPT. You don't actually have the service running directly on your phone, which is what Apple Intelligence is.
