Macbook pro touchpad too sensitive?

Im not sure how to explain this well, but basically my macbook pro touchpad is way too sensitive, like for example i will just be dragging along my mouse without pressing and it thinks im highlighting something, or if im pressing something once lightly it thinks im pressing the touchpad a ton of times. The video might not show it well, but it you turn up your volume maybe it will make sense because of the clicking? Sorry, im not good at explaining the problem. Also my touchpad doesn't seem to be pushed in, and I've already tried to change the touchpad settings to need a firm touch and it doesn't fix it. I haven't spilled water on my macbook, and i have the latest update, does anyone know why this happening? I think its a software issue because the touchpad doesnt look to be damaged, but it could also maybe be inside the computer or something else entirely so im not sure. (Edit: i just realized i cant add a video from my photo library so i will not be adding it , sorry.)

13-in MacBook Pro from 2016 or 2017. Your battery, if original, has outlasted how long Apple thought it would last.

examine your MacBook carefully looking for signs that the battery may be swelling, and pushing up against the underside of the trackpad, which could make it malfunction.

Sometimes it pushed the bottom down so that the feet don't hold the MacBook off the table and if left too long, the center can get shiny from wear against the table-top. Sometimes the seams are straining to hold the battery inside.
