Removing Emergency SOS

Is there a way to completely remove the Emergency SOS? My Eldest son who is autistic is able to call emergency services within seconds if he has hold of my phone. I’ve turned off all the settings on the Emergency SOS section but he can still call them and the last thing I want is police turning up at our door.

Thanks.

No. By law in the US and many other countries, any cell phone, even those with no active cellular service plan, must be able to call emergency services. Don’t let him get hold of your phone.

Oh I don’t openly give him my phone, if it falls out of my pocket or if it’s left on sofa he will dart straight for it and run off. He likes to click the buttons on the side which comes up with the option of Emergency SOS, and with it being a red slider, he does not hesitate to slide it. Already spoken to Emergency Services 3 times and luckily no one has come out to see us yet.
