Less than a year on 1 year Warranty

I purchased Ipod pro 2nd gen on 6/12/24 new from Target. The warranty is showing it expires on 5/28/25. Why less than a year on the 1 year warranty?

It has been my understanding, when purchasing an Apple device from an Apple Authorized Reseller, that the start date of the one-year warranty is when Apple "sells" it to reseller, not when you actually buy it. This may account for the discrepancy your are noting. Then again, I may be wrong and I'm sure someone that knows for sure will chime in.

Hey!

Apple warrants the Apple-branded iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple TV or HomePod hardware product and the Apple-branded accessories contained in the original packaging against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Apple's published guidelines for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser.
