Third Party Keyboards Does Not Work

After upgrading my iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard, third-party keyboards no longer work. I use a phonetic keyboard for the Armenian language and am now having issues writing in Armenian.

Apple does not provide hardware keyboard support for 3rd party keyboards yet. If you are trying to type Armenian with a hardware keyboard, you only have the choice of two layouts -- HM Qwerty and Western Qwerty.

Or are you saying that your 3rd party screen keyboard is not longer available?

Tell us what you have on the list at settings > general > keyboard > keyboards.

Which 3rd party keyboard exactly have you added to your device?

3rd party keyboards never appear under Hardware Keyboards. If you want to type Armenian that way, you need to use Apple's keyboard, and the hardware settings will look like this:

I previously had an iPad 10 with a Magic Keyboard and added a third-party phonetic layout, which worked perfectly.

Do you mean on the screen? I have been using 3rd party keyboards for many years and they have never been usable with a hardware keyboard. Only the Apple supplied keyboards have hardware counterparts. I would agree this is something Apple should fix. To ask them to do that, you can use

Are you still able to use Armenian Phonetic as a screen keyboard?

Could you indicate which of Apple's hardware layouts (HM or Western Qwerty) is best for you and provide a picture of the one which you used before (or describe how it differs from what Apple is providing)?

HM

Western

Thanks for your prompt response. I didn't explain my issue well. I previously had an iPad 10 with a Magic Keyboard and added a third-party phonetic layout, which worked perfectly. Recently, I upgraded to an iPad Pro 13 M4 and also got the new Magic Keyboard M4.

I downloaded the Armenian Phonetic app and added the third-party layout through the general settings and keyboard options. However, it doesn't appear when I switch between keyboards.

Under "General - Keyboard - Keyboards," I can add keyboards, but it does not appear under "Hardware Keyboard." This is the third party layout that I want to use.

The application that I am trying to use is ArmenianPhonetic, which I have downloaded from App Store.
