Deleted photos appearing on ‘photo selector’ screen when uploading photos.

When I am on a website that allows me to upload files/photos (e.g. on this very screen where I am composing this message there is a photo icon, I click that then choose ‘photo library’), well on the mini pop-up that appears, there are photos displayed that have been deleted from my library, they have also been deleted from the recently deleted folder. How do I delete photos from whatever source that pop-up is using?

They may not have been deleted from the database and preview versions so you could try launching the library with the Option+Command keys held down to repair the library. Then try uploading again to see if they still show up.

Addendum: a trick I use to quickly find the desired photos in that situation is to add a unique keyword to the photos I want to upload and search for that keyword. When uploading is finished I remove the keyword from the photos.
