Mark instagram messages as read

Instagram doesn’t do that, and so then the icon remains with messages as unread tag, example the icon has the number three which is really three messages that I read.

The only way it seems is if I respond then it then we’ll go to been read mode. And it has to be words it can’t be an emoji attached expression to the message. It’s frustrating because I can’t clear my messages and then I think I have to keep going back to look. I think this is an oversight in their design otherwise I can only think it might be a ploy by Instagram to keep you in their app.

Instagram isn't an Apple app, nor is it their issue or your device.
