**This is for the Apple TV app, not the device. These issues are occurring on my iPhone** Even after selecting multiple languages in the settings for the apple tv app, i’m unable to change the language once in the desired movie Im attempting to change it in. The desired movie even has japanese as the original audio but I cannot access any language other than english.

The Language settings for the Apple TV app apply for downloads only, and only if the specified audio language is available for the content being downloaded. If its not available, then you will only get the default language.
For streaming, you can change languages on the fly by using the language icon on the play bar in the Apple TV app.
If the content offers only one language, then that is all you can access. The Language Settings will not change this.
Languages offered for content in the Apple TV app depend on the rights holder or distributor of the media, not Apple.
They are the only ones that can add additional language audio tracks.
If no other languages are available for the content, then they simply aren't available.
