Hijacked home page and fatal site errors in Safari .

For years now my home page has been ww12.homesweeklies.com 'cos the home page preference is grayed out. I've tried everything suggested in the forums but nothing on earth will allow me to set my own home page. Also, increasingly, Safari yields fatal errors on various web sites where Firefox works fine.

Seems Apple doesn't give a **** about supporting Safari. I used to be an Apple zealot but these days loyalty to the brand is becoming increasingly embarrassing.

Click the Free Download link and run MalwareBytes. There is no need to purchase any subscription plan and all you need to do is the single free scan that it provides.

If you do not want to use that approach, then post the free EtreCheck report using the Additional Text option when posting. This is also free with no need to do any subscription.

You have downloaded Malware and it needs removed. Safari is fine and continues to be a great browser, but like any browser it will not stop you from downloading and installing files that should have been avoided.
