I have a new iPhone 12 which takes a nano SIM card. However the nano SIM card from my iPhone 7 Plus won’t fit. The tray on the iPhone 12 looks slightly smaller than the one on the iPhone 7 Plus. Any suggestions? I’ve looked at the eSIM instructions but looks a bit complicated.

The nano SIM card from your iPhone 7 Plus will fit in your iPhone 12. Ensure that you are matching the notched portion of the SIM card to the notch cut out in the SIM card tray. Ensure that you are installing the right side up of the SIM card.

If nothing helped above, then take your iPhone 12 along with the SIM card to your carrier’s store and see if they can install it. If that does not work and then there may be an issue with the SIM card tray and in that case you would purchase a new tray for your iPhone 12.
