Apps have no access to camera and photos after iOS 18 Update

i’ve had this issue for two days now where none of my apps have had access to camera and photos. when i’ve pressed to notification the option to allow it isn’t even there. i have gone to privacy and then camera still nothing. i have gone into screen time and allowed changes to content and privacy restrictions still nothing. i believe it is from the latest update, i just do not how to fix it

Here's a fix that worked for me:


Settings>Screen Time>Content and Privacy Restrictions>(Toggle this Option ON>Allowed Apps and Features>Toggle Camera ON


After those steps the Camera Option appeared in the App permissions

Restarted my iPhone 12, and the issue is gone, the apps seem to have the same access to microphone, photos, etc. , as they did pre-update. Can’t say I’m entirely happy with this, as I would never imagine I’d have to restart my iPhone to restore the access. It’s strange Apple released the update that broke something that had been working fine. Total absence of communication from their end is also very disappointing.
