Iphone 15 pro overheating even with latest IOS

I just bought iphone 15pro 2 days ago. Today just finish setying up my phone, but eventually the screen felt hot. The screen was overheating on the left side. Currently using ios 17.5.1. Apple please answer this. Need to comment using my iphone 6s cause im worried of the overheating 😭

iPhone 14 Pro Max overheating Hello community iphone 14 pro max starts to heat fast even after using some normal apps such us google translate which I use because I’m learning a language so I have to keep the screen on for 15/20 minutes sometimes, during this period it heats a lot specially on the right side under the camera. I noticed this the last few days - today my iphone 15 pro was so hot I had to take the case off and put it in front of a small table fan - I thought it was going to catch fire. WTH is going on and how is this even a problem - it seems very dangerous.

My 15 pro started overheating recently (past 2 days) as well, with normal use. The left side of the screen gets too hot too touch. I've had to turn it off to cool off on several occasions.

ios18 does alleviate this… though not by much. I’ve turned off a bunch of stuff recommended on various websites. It does make a difference BUT do not expect a major change.
