YouTube TV (local stations only) won't open and freeze entire app on my iPhone 14 Plus

I have an iphone 14 plus, running iOS17.5.1. In the YouTube TV app, the local channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX) will not function. All of the other channels are just fine. You can tell because as you scroll through the channels you can see the actual live content being shown...except for the local channels. When you scroll past them there is no live content being shown, just a picture. When I tap on any of the 4 local channels, the YouTube TV app freezes. It no longer functions. I have to close the app, reopen it, then the same problem occurs. (Note: I just checked on my old Android phone to see if it has the same problem. Nope, local channels work like a charm!!). This is both odd and frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
