Media sound while receiving a call

Hi,

so I have an iPhone 11, iOS 17.5.1. (The latest version so far) and whenever someone calls me while I am watching, for example, YouTube shorts or Instagram reels the sound of the media (short or reel) gets abnormally loud and the only way to lower the sound is if I lower it using side buttons. It is really annoying because sometimes it happens when I am in public or late in the middle of the night!

is there any way to fix this issue?

I can’t find a solution anywhere on the internet..

Please if someone could help me or knows how I can contact Apple support over email!

I assume that if you're in situations where you're concerned about bothering others, you're using headphones, right? Try using a different pair to see if that makes a difference.
