error 1034

I am getting error 1034 when trying to change my voicemail greeting

Voicemail is a carrier feature; you need to work with your carrier’s tech support for most problems.


For this issue specifically, first, make sure you are connected to Cellular Data, because Voicemail does not work over Wi-Fi.


If that doesn’t fix it, log in to your carrier’s voicemail server, and change the OGM there. Your carrier’s website will have instructions on how to do that, but the usual way is to go to the dial pad and hold the “1” button down, or call your own number. You should be prompted for your passcode, then a voice menu will give detailed instructions.
