erasing a stolen iphone
a few weeks ago my iphone 14 was stolen, now it is in china and at the time i had set it to lost mode the day of the theft and then 2 weeks ago set my phone to be erased. it went from “erase pending” on the “find my” app, to “cancel erase”. how do i know if it has been erased? has it already been erased or not yet? i’m receiving messages from a number and an email pretending to be apple pay telling me i need to “remove device” on find my, saying they have my data ect. i know this can’t be true because it’s in lost mode, but i just want to confirm that and confirm my details and photos can’t be accessed. is there anything i can do further or not at all? thanks! (i tried to attach a screenshot but it is not letting me)
