Why does the home app send random notifications? It said the front door was unlocked/locked when it wasn’t.

I have a Yale lock that works with the home app. It sends notifications when the door is opened and closed. But the door wasn’t unlocked.

Wife not receiving HomeKit notifications My wife is not receiving HomeKit notifications. It’s working fine for my son and I. She has notifications turned on for each of the devices (ie the doors being locked and unlocked).
