Pop-up ad re: infection by trojan viruses

I was browsing online this morning when I got a pop-up ad saying my Apple devices were damaged by infection with 19 Trojan horse viruses. Anyone else have this issue? Is it a scam? I took a screenshot of the ad.

iPhone XR, iOS 17

Read Phony "tech support" / "ransomware" popups and web pages - Apple Community for a description of these common scams and what to do about them.

Post that screenshot if you would like others to confirm the nature of the particular scam you encountered.

Thank you, John … I assumed that it was a scam and I did ignore it for the rest of the day, but wanted to be sure. Even though I took a screenshot of it, I’m afraid I don’t know how to post it here. Oh, I just clicked on the circle with three dots in it and there’s an option to browse for pics (I think - I’ll try it). Thank you again!
