macbook pro 2016 running very slow

When I run mail and software like trading view, the computer runs very very slow. Mine is MacBook Pro 2016 with 500GB hard drive and 8 GB memory.

I also attach the Etracheck report

The current macOS including bug fixes, security updates for Monterey is macOS 12.7.5 i would start there

< Nordvpn >


I would uninstall this mcafee, uninstall the VPN and compare your results



unplug all non-essential peripherals when testing


Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS
