Iphone 11 wanting a passcode every time I open it

HI I set up a security passcode on my iphone in case I lost it, it would need a passcode

But when I set up face ID as well face ID then stops working, and it goes straight back to wanting the passcode that only says "immediatley"with a tick beside it before I can do a thing this is so annoying.

I have tried a few things to stop it . But am not sure if I should stop the security passcode. Would this stop my phone from being able to be used if I lost it still?

All suggestion to try would be much appreciated.

You absolutely NEED a secure passcode, known ONLY to you.

And the longer the passcode better.

It’s what keeps anyone else from opening your phone and taking-over your online self!

It’s why you don’t have to worry about identity theft when a phone is lost or stolen.

Face ID is an aid which essentially “enters the passcode for you” most of the time.

But you still need to KNOW your passcode.

Apple helps you with this by forcing you enter the passcode at-least weekly; plus when making changes to particularly security-sensitive settings.

If you’re having issues w/ FaceID … FIX THAT!
