Mac Mini M1 stopped connecting to Wi-Fi
My Mac Mini M1 quit connecting to our Wi-Fi networks at work (it had been connecting until the networks developed some issues). I have taken it to Apple twice for diagnostics and possible repairs but they found nothing. They completely reinstalled the OS but I still cannot connect to our networks. The Wi-Fi utility always asks for a WPA2 password - and for the guest network (no password required) it asks for a "None password".
Interestingly, my MacBook Pro M1, my MacBook Pro M2, and my iPhone 12 have no problem connecting to the same networks.
I have tried sharing passwords with the Mac Mini, checked and re-checked the passwords... to no avail.
In looking for solutions, I have considered an external USB Wi-Fi adapter - but it seems that the M1s do not support external Wi-Fi adapters.
Any ideas?
