Where does Kindle store books on OSX Monterey?

I've googled and all previous answers are wrong and not useful. I am on a M1 MBA.

After performing a new book download, see the command-line “find” command mentioned by BobHarris here:

find $HOME/Library -mtime 1 2>/dev/null

Get Find Any File...

http://apps.tempel.org/FindAnyFile/index.php

Hold Option or alt key when selecting Find to Find All.
