iPhone shows”weak security” warning.Also says WEP is weak and to use WPA2 or WPA3. Logged onto BT hub, Wi-Fi security is set to WPA2.
Rebooted hub and 2 iPhones, still the same message. Any ideas?

The iPhone really wants to see Wi-Fi security set to WPA3. You will continue to see "weak security" until you change the setting on your Wi-Fi router, or replace the router with a newer product with WPA3 capability.
In the meantime, WPA2-PSK-AES is adequate for most simple home networks.
If you know that the router is set to WPA2, then you can ignore the message about WEP.
The message will go away when your router is using WPA3. At least, that is my experience. If your BT router is 5+ years old, hopefully BT has newer replacement products.
Every iPhone update adds additional security requirements.
Things will sort themselves out when you update to a WPA3 hub/router.

If you are concerned by the message on the iPhone, it will not appear when you switch to a router with WPA3 capability.
But as I already said, WPA2 is adequate for most simple home networks.
I would be concerned though, if BT does not currently offer routers with WPA3 capability. That would indicate that BT is using products that are few years behind the times.
Unfortunately the BT Hub doesn’t offer WPA3. This is what I get

Thanks Bob. I don’t know why it’s just started doing this. It’s been the same set up for at least 4 years.
Hopefully it’ll sort itself out.
