Apple TV 4K Netflix Buggy

Anyone else having issues with viewing Shows/Episodes and seasons disappearing. After say watching an episode I will click back and go back to see episode descriptions/title and they have disappeared and it has jumped back to season 1 on that list. When I scroll down it skips from say season 3 episodes to season 11 episodes and you also cannot even select the season on the left. The only way to get it back is go back to the shows main screen and click play (which does still show the next episode) Let it play for a sec and then click back again. sometimes does not always work. Re-launching somtimes fixes is.


All around anything with seasons/episodes has just seemed really buggy. Only happends on the apple TV 4k. any other devises with netflix seem fine

I’m having the same problem. It’s so frustrating there’s no permanent solution. I’ve tried everything. Signing out and back in. Deleting and reinstalling the app. Making sure both the Netflix app and Apple TV are up to date. Resetting my Apple TV. However, it starts happening regardless of what you do. And like you said, this problem is only affecting Apple TVs. Netflix on mobile, tablets, computers, gaming consoles, or other smart platforms like Roku, don’t have this issue.


Unfortunately, we’ll just have to wait until Netflix decides to fix their app.

The workaround I found isn’t convenient, but it works. On either your phone or tablet. Browse the episode you want to watch. Then, play the episode for a sec, so your “Continue Watching” updates. Then, continue watching on your Apple TV.
