I don't have a alt key what is the equivalent on Macbook air

I don't have the keyboard key ALT and I have tried using the option key as well as the command key, nothing is working. The key combination I am needing to use is Ctrl+Alt+V or Ctrl+Alt+C to be able to get to my college schedule. I am unsure what other keys can be used in place of Alt.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.4

Windows keys on a Mac keyboard - Apple Support

Looks like the Option key should map to Alt. To simulate Ctrl+Alt+V, you could try Control-Option-V and Command-Option-V and see if either works.

If you go into Settings > Keyboard and click on the Keyboard Shortcuts… button, you'll get a dialog that lets you remap the functions of modifier keys (bottom sidebar item). If you remapped keys using the Keyboard dialog, that would affect which physical keys you had to press.
