Trying to reset up my Hotmail acct on iMac mail

Microsoft says that need to click on Outlook.com in the ‘Add Account’ dialog box but I don’t have that as an option… why? I do have Microsoft Exchange or Google do I pick one of these instead? Or ‘Other’?

Have been having loads of issues with my emails not downloading or v slow to show. Have had my acct for years but now is really annoying and yet working fine on my phone (mainly)… is Google same as Hotmail? Perhaps I should pick this instead? Also with p/w I have one for Google and different one for Hotmail acct. Am getting totally confused here! Not computer literate either so that probably doesn’t help… anyone?

Plus how do I know what to put in the SMTP/mail Server/IMAP/POP boxes am flummoxed 😩
