There is a weird dot on my iPad Pro display

If you look closely you will also see a pink artifact near the blue and yellow icon at the top of your picture. What you are seeing is a screen which is overlayed above another page, which is ghosted through. Your iPad is Working As Designed.

You can probably see a stronger example if you drag down to open Control Center over your home page, and all the home page icons get blurred in the background.

If you follow this path, what happens?

iPad > Settings > Accessibility > Vision > Display & Text Size > Reduce Transparency > enable (green showing)

Is it any better?

Is it under warranty? Did you purchase it less than a year ago? Do you have Apple Care on the iPad?
