New or used Laptop

Hello,

I have purchased a Laptop in my country from an authorized reseller (idk if it's or not, this is how we presents himself, is there a way I can check if he is listed as an authorized reseller or not) and when I'm checking Limited Warranty Date is giving me 07/03/2024, while I have purchased my laptop somewhere in May, so does this tells me that this laptop is not new and is opened a year ago?

So to summarize:

I need to know how to verify the reseller, if he is authorized or not
To understand if my laptop was new when I purchased or used

Once Apple sells a Mac, to an individual purchaser or to a reseller, it's considered sold. The purchase date will reflect that date of sale.

To correct it for purposes of the Mac's AppleCare warranty duration, you must contact Apple by phone: Update your proof of purchase - Apple Support.

Be absolutely certain to retain your printed sales receipt or invoice for as long as you own that Mac: Keep your receipt after you buy an Apple device - Apple Support.
