How to know if my MacBook Air is not an used one?

Bought a brand new Macbook Air M3 on April 13, 2024 but on apple website and coverage in settings, the date of purchase is March 22, 2024 - Warranty expires March 21, 2025. I just bought a new a brand new MacBook Air M3 today April 13, 2024 but it says on the settings: Limited Warranty expires on March 21, 2025. I clicked for more details and it redirected me to the apple website saying MacBook valid purchase - purchase date: March 22, 2024. I also checked the cycle count and it says cycle count: 1. Does this mean I got scammed and my MacBook is a used MacBook? Please can someone enlighten me on this? Thanks in advance!

The warranty date is predicated on the information Apple received upon its initial purchase — which apparently was the dealer from whom you purchased it. You can probably get Apple to correct it, but you must either call them on the phone or upload your original purchase receipt to Apple for verification.

Hi, no it was not an authorized apple dealer because the Air M3 has not been officially released here. I am in the Philippines and I tried to get it through sellers at a mall and they also sell apple products to celebrities here and I bought my ipad pro from them a couple of years ago so I assumed they would be good. What do you think about the MacBook I bought from them?
