new iPad asking for password for an 'apple ID' that I didn't know I had
Hello! Got a new iPad, but it's unusable because whenever I connect to the internet, the machine incessantly asks me for the password for an 'Apple ID', or rather, an old email and password related to an old job that I don't recall ever using as an Apple ID. I've had my current Apple ID for decades, and I have no idea why it's asking me this question.
My ipad isn't 'locked'. I just can't use it with wifi, because it starts asking me again and again for a password I don't have for an old email address that it thinks is an Apple ID. I tried resetting, and that worked until I connected to wifi, when it started asking for the 'apple ID password' again.
If your advice is to delete apps associated with this old email, how can I tell which apps are associated with it?
Any help would be appreciated!!
