Canon wireless printer is not working

I'm not sure if it's on the computers end or the printer. Does anyone know what this is?

iMac 24″, macOS 14.5

Similar questions

Mac repeatedly shows printer as offline IOS 26.2 and previous. Mac unable to find the printer. Says it's offline. It is not. I even print a page then the next time I print it says offline. Happens repeatedly. Needs to be addressed.

Canon Pixma MG3250 Problem in Ventura After updating the operating system, my Pixma MG3250 is still connecting to the network, and to my macbook air, but it does not work properly anymore - it sometimes prints one page, than insists that it is out of paper, but mostly it reports out of paper immediately. The Canon website advises that the printer is not compatible with this operating system (Ventura). Does anyone have a suggestion how to fix this?

You do not normally need to download drives from the manufacture to AirPrint.

see > About AirPrint - Apple Support

If the printer is connected to your local network and other computers or iOS devices can AirPrint.

Then reset the iMac's Printing System as per > Reset the printing system on your Mac to solve a problem - Apple Support

It seems like the issue is related to the timing of the software installation, the best solution would be a clean reinstallation of the software to eliminate the error. Do let me know how it goes.
