How can I stop Messenger notifications on my Apple Watch Ultra 2?

I understand how to change notifications for applications on my Apple Watch, but the Messenger app isn't on my watch, therefore I can't stop or change the notifications! Using the Ultra 2 and I'd like to not get woken up by messenger notifications any longer. Thanks.

  1. Open Watch app on your iPhone
  2. Tap notifications
  3. Scroll down until you see Mirror iPhone Alerts From
  4. Toggle off Messenger

Hope this helps!

I have set up Sleep Mode on my iPhone to only get notifications from certain people and apps during that time, since the Apple Watch settings for focus mirror the ones on the iPhone.

But you can also set up the focus on your Apple Watch differently, if you disable the option to mirror the settings of your iPhone.

Thanks for that reply and suggestion! Unfortunately, I can't silence all my notifications, because I need some of them when I'm on call. When you put your phone in sleep or focus, it does it to your watch and vice versa. But I need other apps or things to notify me if there is something going on. I really just want to get rid of the Facebook Messenger app from notifying me on my watch. I'm trying not to turn off all the notifications , cause I do like seeing them on my phone, just not buzzing on my wrist lol.
