eSIM iPhone 12 Pro

Going to the UK for 30 days was told I can put an eSIM card in my iPhone 12. Seems that they use CDMA US uses GSM how do I make sure I buy an eSIM card that’s compatible so I’m not confused on one network, was told cannot have physical SIMON I SIMON same network. iPhone is unlocked. Please advise.

Does eSim have any bearing on the location/service provider in which it's working after activation? IE, once activated, can this phone be used in a country where eSim is not yet supported? I am contemplating the new iPhone 15 but understand it also has the new eSim "card". I presume/hope that, after activation here in the States on T-Mobile, it will function normally overseas on any other system and/or provider?

Can I enable eSIM functionality on an iPhone 12 mini from China? Hi! I bought for my job an iPhone 12 mini imported from a Chinese market. I have understood that the iPhone for China can´t configure eSim and only are able to use simcard, at difference of the rest of iPhone for all other countries. By the way, I want to know if it´s a situation of hardware for the iPhones destined to China or I can download and install another software version from other countries for have the eSim functions in my device. I have new iPhone 15. I understand there is a eSIM card. Please advise me what I should o when I live evenly between US and France What do I need to do to set new IPhone 15 Pro Max with eSIM card? I live in US and France.

No one uses CDMA anymore.

That particular network technology went away about 14 years ago.
